51 REASONS OF ACCUSATION AGAINST LA REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN OF 1st JANUARY 1960.
Every true Southern Cameroonian will accept with the Southern Cameroons Youth League (SCYL) that
our freedom is non-negotiable, but the bone of contention is the method of obtaining this freedom. The
courts of law have done their best but our People and Country have ended with mere paper slogans. We have demonstrated pacifically and
only get killed; we are not even given the opportunity to bury our dead even those they have persistently brutally murdered. Yet there
are still some among us, after more than four decades of an insensitive barbaric annexation, who tell us that paper petitions and empty threats
without meaningful action will bring us our most Cherished freedom. Even the world community has been telling us to "
do something" that will bring their ears and conscience to our plight. Others have failed to understand the message of SCYL. We will do that something, not for the world to listen to us at last, but because our destiny is at stake and we have vowed never to let any one, person or persons to rule our hearts and bodies again except God. If anyone doubts our resolve to obtain our freedom then that man does not
know or understand The League. Below are 51 ACCUSATIONS we have labelled against the demonic Biya regime.
Let each of you, Southern Cameroonians and friends of the Southern Cameroons Cause for freedom tell us which courts of law, how
many more demonstrations with innocent deaths, how many more imprisonment; empty conferences and slogans can bring our persecutor to change the tides to suit us! Why then should we
continue to baby a government and Country that had:
Imposed a Federal Administration to whom Southern Cameroons Prime Minister had to
be answerable? Abolish our units of measure? Abolish our currency? Impose their units, measures, and currency on our masses? Abolished our Multi-Party Democratic System and imposed a one party dictatorial state on
our masses (1966)? Abolished freedom of speech and association as the UPC insurrection gripped them, spreading from the Littoral and West
Provinces to the then West Cameroon? Imposed a perpetual state of emergency on the territory of Southern Cameroons in every nomenclature (West Cameroons, North West and South West Provinces)? Appoint and dismiss West Cameroon Prime Minister with a foolish Fulani man's stroke of the pen in the name of Presidential Decree? Setting confusion between our elite and political Leaders as was the charge and fight for power between Endeley, Foncha, Jua and others,
just to exploit division which would serve their annexation interests? Refused political advice from National Vice President of the Federation John Ngu Foncha which led to his resignation from government in 1969
when Ahmadou Babatoura Ahidjo planned the abolition of West Cameroon with the evil complicity of Honourable Solomon Tandeng Muna? Violated with impunity the constitution of the so-called Federation, which barred the holding of two offices at the same time. When Foncha resigned in 1969 and Muna
was appointed Vice President to the Federation and Prime Minister of West Cameroon at the time in view of setting the stage for the diabolic evil intercourse between dictatorship and annexation? Abolished the Government of West Cameroon with the faked 1972 Referendum which asked the same question in French and English and this led to the infamous results of
99.99% in favour of re-unification on May 20, 1972, the most fake of a national day for country on earth? Frauded the West Cameroon bank into bankruptcy with 100 years loans to French Cameroon citizens? Destroyed, transferred and stole parts of the hydro-electricity dam in Yoke, Muyuka Which supplied electricity to parts of the West Cameroon to the Edea plants in their own Cameroon? Abolished Santa Coffee Estate and Factory, and transferring stolen parts to Bafoussam for the very magnitude of a coffee factory, UCAO? Killed the umbrella factory in Ombe? Destroyed the Wum Area Development Authority (WADA)? Destroyed the Upper Noun Valley Development Authority (UNVDA) in Ndop? Flooded the Rice Plains of UNVDA with a dam at Bamendjin? Destroyed the Public Works Department (PWD) which did road construction and tarred most towns in West Cameroon? Destroyed our Healthcare System by refusing to expand hospitals constructed in 1949-59 when Southern Cameroons was jointly ruled with Nigeria by British? Destroyed our Hygiene and Sanitation by neglecting the highly efficient system whereby a weekly inspector (Sanitation Officer or 'Sanatary' inspects from bathrooms to toilet
facilities, bedrooms and kitchens! Defaulters were ticketed? Destroyed the National Marketing Board (PMB)? Hijacked the PMO and transformed it into a thieving bureaucracy called NPMB with Headquarters in Douala and not in Victoria? Embezzeled, unperturbed over 240 billion that were balance sheet carried over revenues of the PMO from Victoria to Douala? Embezzeled with lightening speed over 400 Billion that were National Reserves of the West Cameroon Government with the World Bank? Changed the names of our cities (Victoria to Limbe) to suit their evil design of making us forget our past? Attempted to erradicate our Educational System by abolishing the GCE as did their Minister of National Education Rene Ze Nguelle with the complicity of our own Dorothy Limunga
Njeuma, the Vice Minister of National Education at the time? Frustrating Mission Schools out of jealousy for producing highly intelligent men and women whom they saw as a real threat to their Buffoonization of our masses by refusing to pay them
annual subventions? Discriminate on the basis of language in many forms and domains (like the shooting by a gendarme of MBONDE MOSIMA for Speaking English in Yaounde. MBONDE today is totally paralysed,
cannot feed himself or bath, uses a wheelchair and lives at the true mercy of God)? Freezed all employment for Southern Cameroonian Youths while employing their own citizens through the "backdoor policy"? Sellective application of the rule of law (The case of SCYL Leader Akwanga.., Jr., and others at the Yaounde Military Tribunal for crimes they never committed)? Embezzelled funds from Cameroon Bank from Yoaunde to Bafoussam and in some instances even breaking into these banks to steal government funds primarily funded by exports from West Cameroon/Southern Cameroons? Ravaged our forest resources? Poison our farms with highly toxified fertillizers, which have resulted in the disappearance of certain food crops in certain areas (cocoyams in Babibo and Pineapples in Bali)? Poison and killed/killing our people from Kilo, Nanga, Che, Abendong, Ngum Jua, Jerome Gwellem, Akwanka Joe Ndifor, Ntanen Daniel Ndifon, etc? Occupies our Territory Mlitarily? Arresting and illegally detaining with absolute brutality and under very inhuman conditions critics of the breached of the Treaty of the Union between the two Cameroons such as Albert Womah Mukong, Fon Fongum Gorji-Dinka, Ebenezer
Derek Mbongo Akwanga..,Jr., etc? Pilfering our Agro and Mineral Resources while keeping our own Cameroons in abject neglect and poverty? Chasing our intelligentia into self-exile as part of the brain-drain which reduces the workforce in our country to foster our dependecy on them so that their annexationist policies will go unhindered (the case of Prof. Carlson
Anyangwe, Eric Chinje, Melissa Nabangi, Julius Wamey, etc are glaring examples)? Reserves only tertiary and non-strategic positions of government to our own people? Destroyed our own paliament and House of Chiefs and further reduced our highly respected traditional rulers to boothlickers and praise singers? Bribed and turn our own brothers and sisters against their own kith and kins by publicly insulting us to claim that their new form of neocolonialism: "National Intergration and National Unity" is succeeding? Promotes and encourages a system of governance with hatred, tribalism, Sectarianism, Gangsterism and assassination of all fields of opponents as a policy? Arrest our people and carry them to it's own prisons where they are brutally tortured and tried in a language they don't understandand by laws alien to their own? Imposed upon us a culture of fear with the very infamous "Kale Kale"? Encourages state terrorism and rewards barbaric governors, prefects and generals (the cases of Martin Tiku-Bayee Arikai, Oben Peter Ashu, Gen. Phillipe Mpay, Adrian Kouambo, Fai Yengo Francis
are some examples)? Deprived us of the rights even to cellebrate our independence day and assemble in the name of our Cameroon.? Embarks on unrelenting assimilation of our people through acts purely criminal under international law? Ensures that the truth about the 1986 Lake Nyos Disaster remains in the dark and the results of the thousands of Commissions of enquiries of acts of gross human rights abuses never see the day of light? Lying to the International Community that Bakassi Peninsula which is part and parcel of the Southern Cameroons is their territory by way of the very Plebiscite Treaty which they had refused to vote in it's favour and even more, refused to be implemented.
