- The Main Governing Body of the Southern Cameroons Youth League also
known as The Youth League or The League is the Revolutionary High Command Couucil, established in the night of May 27, 1995, a few hours before the Organisation
was born.
- The Strength of the SCYL is based on its UNITS, which is the Core of the Movement.
- At the end
of June 1995, the REHCOCO formulated a TIME-BOUND PROGRAMME for the final Liberation of the
Southern Cameroons. This programme was followed strictly until the SCYL Leadership was decapitated and
its Chairman and others Arrested and Jailed in 1997.

It should be Noted here that the TIME-BOUND PROGRAMME of the SCYL is different from that
of the SCNC which was put forward by Veteran Freedom Crusader, Professor Nfor Susungi.
- Equally,
it was on the functional implementation of this programme which led the REHCOCO to despatch its Pioneer Chairman,
George Ebai on a diplomatic break-through in Yaounde, LRC.
- History also holds it that it was the
Revolutionary High Command Council REHCOCO of The League that gave
Justice Frederick Alobwede ebong the opportunity to move ahead with the INDEPENDENCE PROCLAMATION in 1999. The
REHCOCO has never failed in its objectives!
- As a "Family Organisation", The Youth League
operates on a two-way arrow control: information leaving the top to the bottom and vice-versa.
We are a Family Organisation because we have refuse to disagree on issues that deals with our very existence as a people.
