TRAUMA CENTRE is a Non-Profit/Non-Governmental Human Rights Organisation based in Yaounde and known in full as the
Centre For The Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture and Violence.
- It has been on the Forefront in giving life-saving assistance to these victims of
torture and violence since their illegal incarceration in 1997.
- It works in collaboration with Amnesty International and other Human Rights Partners around the globe.
- It equally gives humanitarian assistance to Rwandan, Burundian abd Congolese Refugees.
- It's Founder, The Reverend Pastor Luc Norbert Kenne of Bangangte Origin,
West Province of La Republique du Cameroun was brutally and mystically killed at the age of 41 because of his continuous assistance, ranging from legal
aides, medical support and feeding and financial assistance to the Southern Cameroons Prisoners of Conscience. Rev. Pastor Kenne died because he refused to betray his conscience
and let fear take hold of him by standing up to the warnings of death threats from top personalities of the Cameroonian Ruling tribe who wanted him to stop all assistance to these
Prisoners. May his Soul Rest in peace!
