This is the Continuation of our Rememberance Respect for Leaders who had/have exercise GREAT MAGNANIMITY for the Cause of FREEDOM More than FOUR DECADES of a brutal and barbaric annexation has brought us face-to-face with the Different Faces of what our people are. During these years, we have seen The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Men and women have bravely given their lives in trying to build a decent Society for the future generation. Others have spent their time running against the wishes of God and at times, thinking they can bribe HIM in taking sides with their diabolic intercourse with evil. We present to you some of these men and women and some of the events that recorded history has been good to provide to us. We are not judging them but their individual and collective acts is what holds them either in high esteem or in contempt in the eyes of the Persecuted and suffering People of the Southern Cameroons. We remember each and every one of them for WHOSOEVER THEY ARE, THEY WERE, and for WHATSOEVER act they might have committed. No one can run away from history.
Barrister (Chief) Charles Achaleke Taku Prominent Human Rights Lawyer and Lead Counsel at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal For Rwanda in Arusha-Tanzania and for Sierra Leone. He is Head of the SCYL Legal Department and a Key Figure for the Southern Cameroons Cause for TOTAL FREEDOM!
Bate Besong Better known as BB. Southern Cameroons Prolific writer who has used his write-ups to expose the rotten society in which his people live.
Mwalimu George Ngwane He will be remembered for all what he incanates: Strength in times of trial, Courage in times of weakness and Hope for the Younger generation.
Ben Nantang Jua Like his father he incanates Courage and Strength. He is an inspiration to the Youths of The Southern Cameroons.
Francis Nyamnjoh He remains a great instrument of positive change for the People of The Southern Cameroons. When will he return Home to train more critical minds?
Rosemary Fru Ndi The People of The Southern Cameroons will remember this woman for the Courage and Determination she showed during those early days of darkness. We will remember her forever.
Ben Berka Njovens Southern Cameroons BEN BERKA NJOVENS who passed into glory at a time when his country needed him most. We will remembre you forever.
Yimbu Patrick One of Southern Cameroons Prisoner of Conscience who died at the JAMOT HOSPITAL in Yaounde in 1999 while in jail at the Maximum Security Prison of Kondengui. The SCYL will always keep his memory alive.
